Student & Family Handbook
The Student and Family Handbook conforms to the educational guidelines in the State of Washington. The statements herein represent the basic expectations for student conduct in a school setting and describe the procedures that are used to guarantee certain fundamental student rights. Procedures and rules are in place to ensure that students are ready and able to benefit fully from their day in our program. Our goal is to make Expedition Behavioral Education a place where students, families, teachers, and staff want to be and where our students can learn new skills for leading productive lives. We can make this happen by working together and adhering to the policies and procedures.
The Handbook is published online on Olympic Academy and Summit Academy’s websites. The handbook is subject to change at any time, with or without notice, and the most current version is always available online. Consult the program director for questions or comments about the handbook. The handbook is distributed pursuant to Washington Administrative Code (WAC) Chapter 392-400, which prescribes substantive and procedural due process rights of students.
